A Tribute to Amanda & Marc of Ugly Betty

Ugly Betty is one of my favorite TV Series, an American comedy-drama television series created by Silvio Horta, which started its premiere on ABC, September 28 2006. Marc and Amanda, well, they're pretty much the best part of the show. The fashion-obsessed receptionist and her gay best friend, whose job is pretty much continually mock and humiliate Betty for her lackluster physical appearance and awkward nature. The show is propelled into comedic genius because of them. Every word these two utter is hilarious! Their lines drip with sarcasm and wit. Their facial expressions alone are enough to keep me watching. They’re not bogged down by good consciences or boring storylines (cue Betty). They come in, say something hilarious and leave. They scheme, they lie they cheat, and they gossip. What’s not to love, right?
So the news is that Ugly Betty (FYI, she's STILL ugly), is airing again on TV! Started 2 weeks ago. I'm not really into Betty's story, because she's plain boring. I'm expected nothing from her. I don't care much about her. I kinda don't get it why her man became more attractive days to days. It's not fair, because she still looks, mmh you know, ugly. I just feel bad for them boys. Amanda and Marc, on the other hand, aaargh i love them! They're perfectly witty, perfectly crazy, and perfectly good looking with their perfectly cute trendy outfits. And this is a tribute to them!

Amanda Tanen
Amanda Tanen is the attractive receptionist at MODE magazine. She believed she was the daughter of an investment banker who, she hinted in an earlier episode, is an embezzler, but learned in the second season she is actually the daughter of Fey Sommers. Amanda aspires to marry royalty, preferably a duke, as a prince would be too much pressure. Curious about her past, Amanda decides to seek out the identity of her father. Amanda presumed her father to be KISS bassist and lead singer Gene Simmons. Amanda is easily bored and has a tendency to go on eating binges whenever she feels threatened, as a way to control her fears and insecurities. She finds Betty is quite a perfect joke. She really is one hell of a bitch.
Marc St. James
Marc is Wilhelmina Slater's personal assistant, also known as her devilish right hand. He behaves in a stereotypically flamboyant manner and makes puns and witty jokes on suggestive terms like "flaming" and "out.". He is very loyal to Wilhelmina and so far he will do whatever it will take to help his boss succeed in her goal to become the magazine's editor. He suffers from asthma attacks whenever there is a crisis, or when Wilhelmina questions him. And FYI, He was head cheerleader in college. Originally, Wilhelmina was supposed to be so mean she would fire an assistant every week, but Marc proved to be a popular character and got the job permanently.

Here are some of the funniest scenes from them that i can recall:
