I'm not really sure whether the chart represents the real exact number of both us, Muslim population (yes, I'm a Muslim), and those radical Muslim movement people (Al Qaeda & Taliban & maybe some other else). Apart from the number & having read the saying, you see the point, right? People really need to realize this. I'm bringing this up because I actually hate it that people still generalize all Muslims for terrorists. Some people really should start to open their eyes and mind cause this prejudice is nothing but stupid.

Java Jazz Festival 2011 ♥

Have I told you, dear readers, my happiest week, so far on this 2011?

Well, it was when I volunteered for the annual Java Jazz Festival that held on the 4th, 5th & 6th of March. Yes, it was a week ago.

It was one day on a boring day of December, a friend asked me to accompany her doing an interview for this JJF volunteering thingy. I was on holiday, got nothing else to do the next day, so yeah, I took the rest of the day making my own CV (I find it really hard to remember all the achievements & records I've ever did, mainly because I have too few, lol) for the next day's interview.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND, AFTER A LONG AWAITING FOR TWO & A HALF MONTHS, A PHONE CALL FROM THIS AWESOME GUY MAS RAYMOND OF JJF SAID I GOT ACCEPTED!

Long story short, I was assigned to be the airport front desk, where my job desc was to fetch all the international artists & guests, take care of their passport to get them through the immigration, accompany them waiting for their luggages, and get them to the bus safely.

BEST DAMN JOB EVER!

Like seriously, BEST. DAMN. JOB. EVER!

Although at first it was so hard & awful. Day 1 I got really devastated I almost cried but I told myself to hang on & survive that day & the next two days no matter what (yes of course lah ya I have to since I have no other option whatsoever). The job was seriously hard. It's just.. hard, and unpredictable problems occurred often at first. We, my team & I, practically have to spend all day at the airport (THIS is not a problem). I'm not exaggerating, but dang, it was so damn hard at first. And after 2 full days of experience, I finally feel easy about it. And since we, our team and I, have worked before the festival started, we were able to catch 3 full-day of the Java Jazz Festival itself, work-free! See, best job ever :)

There was one time where I had to fetch this band & a guest; they supposed to be arrived at 13.25 & 13.35 on sub-terminal D. So, what I had to do was basically fetch the band, take them through immigration & hand them over to the luggage team while I run back to the terminal gate to fetch the guest. I did successfully hand the band over to the luggage team but when I got back to the gate & asked whether this guest's plane had arrived, the information lady told me my plane boarded on sub-terminal E! PANIC? HELL I WAS! So I run to E (not exactly running, never look suspicious upon the airport's camera), and thank God the plane was delayed for twenty minutes or so :)

What so cool about this job I volunteered for is, these people you pick up, their first impression was on us. Although I shouldn't be talking too much with them, I can't help it to get all smiley and friendly. And fortunately they all were too :)
